My College Experience So Far

As some of you may know - I started college this week as a Film major. I have a perfect schedule with 4 classes that are back to back meaning I get out around noon and only have classes Mon - Thurs. Yeah, it’s nice. Not to mention, I covered all the required credit hours!

Here’s a list of my classes:

Introduction to Film / Theatre/ Television - In short, a class in which I’ll acquire the skill to convert theatre scripts into a film script as well as gain some basic knowledge about film analyzation.
Camera and Multi-media Production - Hands on class which teaches single/multi-camera operation, basic editting skills using Final Cut pro and Photoshop, Live studio production etc. Basically some stuff I already know and some stuff I’m still no familiar with. The teacher requires us to keep a blog for this class.
British Literature - Core class. Hopefully will make me like literature again…
American Political System - Core class. I’m not interested in politics in particular, however, I like the teaching style in this class and hopefully will be able to pay enough attention to pass!

All the teachers/professors are really helpful and passionate about what they do and it’s apparent even from the first day. I’m looking forward to seeing what limits college will push me to and what I can accomplish on my own.
