My Birthday Goodies

Well my birthday is officially over. I celebrated more or less over a span of two days. On the actual date of the birthday (August 9th) went out to dinner with the family and tonight (August 10th) had dinner with friends at Dave&Busters, played some games, and afterward came back to my house and watched old home movies of back when I was seven. Quite the 18th birthday celebration. Sure it wasn’t a throw down bash, but it’s went exactly the way I wanted it to, and everyone seemed to enjoy it, and in the end - isn’t that all that matters?

As for presents, I got a CD with some amazing music on it, a fat book full of sweet-ass graffiti, and a child’s book called “Frog and Toad Together” which is awesome because now I can finally read something I’ll enjoy. Of course I got some money, around $100 which I added to my secret stash - under my bed (oh shit!) that I’m saving up for a semi-professional/entry-level camcorder since I am a film major.

Tomorrow I start college with two classes, first being Intro to Film/Theatre/Television and the second being British Literature. I can’t really decide yet how I feel about starting college already, I was excited this morning, and now I’m kind of bummed. But we’ll see how it goes!
