The Beginning of GloveS
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lmsKwbkuqk
This is a skit my friend and I did for a concert our Sophomore year. Sam was the feet (and hat at times) and I was the hands (and also hat at times). Music by Kirizzle from NewGrounds.com
Here’s the breakdown:
$30 x 2 - Black Lights = $60
$20 - Bridal (stretchy) gloves
$10 - White hat
$10 - Hard work and effort
Total: $100
This was the performance that started it all. Sam (my friend) and I have done one or two skits at a cabaret before, but I feel that this skit really showcased our creativity and actually this skit gave us the name, GloveS.
The short story behind the name is that we never did pay too much attention to what to call a skit. Whatever came to mind - that was it. However, later we noticed something funny. Since my name is George and his is Sam it was as if GeorgeloveSam, thus GloveS and the capitalization of the ‘S’. It was cute if anything else.
In any case. After knowing that we can get such a great reaction from an audience by doing something we love, which is to perform, there was no stopping of the GloveS dudes. It was crazy from there. Performing at every cabaret and talent show we could find, winning a few awards here and there. The friendship has been strengthened through the power of theatre, if I do say so myself.
Unfortunately, senior year of high school has ended and its time to move onto the future: college. Even though, both of us are going to an instate college, our destiny is held in two completely different colleges with different majors. But perhaps some day, the GloveS brothers will be reunited and bringing joy to the people once again, through simplistic and heartwarming skits.
Keep zooming,

Really great stuff, but I couldn’t help to notice Philadelphia was spelled wrong. Sorry for being such a Grammar Nazi…
